YOU DO HAVE TALENT- EVERYONE DOES
Talents are those natural abilities we seem to be "BORN WITH". Some call them gifts, natural abilities or innate aptitudes. Many of our talents and aptitudes are just naturally a part of us - we didn't learn them. Natural talents and interest can be enhanced and "acted upon" throughout our lives.
Every person on earth has a unique talent that no one else has since everyone is born with a different set of personality traits. It is a pity that so many people never discover their own talents! It all starts with believing that there is talent in you. You need to know and feel it deep inside of you until it gets firmly cemented: you do have talent- everyone does. This is the begging of the hunt. Many do not even ever get here.
Those unique, natural talents are the core of who we are. Those talents never change. They don’t go away. It doesn’t matter if you’re born into a dysfunctional family or with a silver spoon in your mouth. You never lose those talents, but you can surely lose sight of them as you discovered in the section where we talked about human conditioning.
As you look at career and jobs, be sure to keep coming back to these things you really love to do. When you meet people in careers or go to talk to people of in job training and higher education programs, be sure you share these traits of yours. Ask them how or if they "fit" or make a difference in their work or learning experience.
What happens in your life when you identify your unique, natural talents and use them? You excel because you are doing what you have a natural talent for doing, and your self-confidence builds. Your adrenaline flows. You’re creative. You’re enthusiastic. You get “in the flow” and don’t know that time has passed because you are so engrossed in what you’re doing. As you look at career and jobs, be sure to keep coming back to these things you really love to do. Conversely, I’ve found that the further you drift away from your own natural talents, the more unhappy and depressed you are. A depressed and suicidal teen (and the number is astounding) has let the fictitious and erroneous thought patterns he has developed, with the help of other people and events, keep him from knowing who the “real me” is. He is so confused that he cannot see any way he could ever be happy. The starting point is simply to go back to the “core” of your own unique, natural, God-given talents to build from that basis. Once you do that, you will look up one day and be surprised to find that you are happy.
Obviously, the key is to start out, right now, identifying your unique, natural, God-given talents and abilities to build your life around what God intended for you. Live life more abundantly, as God promised.

Tread back to the times you were appreciated for something. Hone skills around this appreciation you have gotten for. A small account into one of my past discoveries. I won and continue to win accolades for my singing talent. My friends and extended family bestow or express excessive love or fondness because I sing well. I was trained in Classical Carnatic music as a teenager. I have had a doting teacher that loved the volume in my vocal chord(s), sometimes she also loved the timbre. During those times that I was learning music, I found it extremely difficult to maintain that effervescence in my voice always. I never knew it back then my singing Bhajans today at religious/spiritual gatherings would be a reason for my extended family and friends bestowing all the excessive love and preference. Touch-wood. And then, talents sometimes spring from pathetic circumstances - you always be open to new people, novel notions and challenges. Participate in groups. Expand your horizons. Volunteer some random service programs - aiding the needy brings out the best in you. Traveling is this zinger to help invent your likes and interests. Travel does not always entail flighty, swanky and posh places on planet Earth, travel also calls for a short sabbatical spanning a visit to one of your ancestral in the grassroots, travel can be a pilgrimage voyage too.
