Developing your thinking is a major part of personal development. And it becomes essential to change the way you think. The first thing is to control your thoughts. If you can control your thoughts, then it becomes easy to change your thinking.
What do I mean by changing thinking here?
I mean that finding the opportunity in every situation. Thinking long term about your actions.
For many years, my thinking was.....
”I am unable to it. Life is bad for me. I don't have the resources to change my life. I don't have the capacity. Other people are responsible for my life. I can't control things.” This type of thinking is de-motivating. You lose hope in life and accept what is happening instead of changing it.
So it becomes critical 1. To be ready to learn 2. To be open-minded for new things 3. To do new experiments
It needs practice day after day. Make it a habit to develop your thinking. Read more books, solve problems and practice to do your work happily. Developing thinking is like developing your muscles. You have to give pressure to change it. Otherwise same old thoughts appear again and again.
Do the work, you are scared of doing, do the stuff you have been avoiding for a long time. Changing your old thinking takes times, constant efforts, and doing the stuff.
Until and unless you achieve new heights, new understanding, new results, it won't change. You can also observe your old thinking patterns and write them down and use affirmations or autosuggestion to change them.
